This is an Alert to all. A financial scam has hit thousands of people recently. Victims receive a phone call or email telling them their bank is being taken over by another bank and they need to provide information or their accounts will be frozen. They are apparently quite forceful and scare people into providing info.  They are then able to wipe out bank accounts.  If you receive a call, ask them for a number to call them back on.  Then contact your bank using a number you have or go to the bank itself to investigate the allegation. Do Not Provide Financial Information to anyone who contacts you.
