I would like to introduce myself, my name is Pat Klassen and I am a Heritage Maker Publishing Consultant.  I would like to share my story with everyone.

Have you ever wanted to work from home?  Have you got a passion for storybooks and scrapbooking?  If you answered ‘yes’ to both questions you may be interested in my story.

I am a wife and mother with 2 daughters and one beautiful grandson. I am employed as an Elementary School Secretary and regularly teach Digital Scrapbooking classes in the evenings. 

I found Heritage Makers just over 2 years ago when I didn’t even realize that I was looking for something. I had always dreamed of owning my own home based business and had tried several things but nothing was for me. I was an avid scrapbooker and I also published a local history book of my grandparent’s life, entitled ‘Lovingly Yours Nellie”, so you can understand why I am very passionate about storybooks.  

When I saw Heritage Makers, I knew it was perfect for me in so many ways! The mission statement of “Preserving Home and Family” touched my heart and the idea of preserving my memories through the power of story, not just by placing photos on a page, became my passion!

Another thing that sold me was that my photos and my books would be archived forever so that if my house was to flood, burn, etc. I could retrieve my memories; I couldn’t say this about my scrapbooks. I soon realized that I could make a great income and actually work from home, therefore setting my own hours around my family and their schedules! My family is a great part of my business and help me in so many ways, along with making their own books and preserving their own memories! We have set many dreams and goals together as a family and are working together toward achieving those goals, which includes becoming a full-time publishing consultant!

So I joined Heritage Makers and became a Personal Publishing Consultant and I love it! We refer to it as getting ‘pay cheques from the heart’ and we do!  There is nothing more rewarding than helping others discover and create their heritage in a scrapbook or storybook.  Not only do they learn about their heritage but it also binds families together.  HOW GREAT IS THAT?

In my ongoing quest to promote my Heritage Maker’s business I stumbled upon a new and exciting website building program called ‘Site Build It’ and after doing a lot of research I decide to build my very own website and what a great experience it has been.

My site is a combination of traditional and digital scrapbooking which I blended together with storybooking.  You will find many resources on my site for writing stories and steps on how to create a beautiful storybook through Heritage Makers.

As a Personal Publishing Consultant with Heritage Makers we sell products through in-home parties, online, one-on one. You can be as creative as you want to be with your selling methods! In home parties tend to be the easiest way with the largest audience at one time.
