Many women have skills, talents or a great business idea that would develop into a profitable business.
I love to encourage women to start a business of their own. When women learn what I do the conversation usually goes in one of two ways. One, here’s what I can do, I’ve kept my skills up to date I’m ready to work. The other way is, I don’t know what I want to do or what I can do. I usually ask what she enjoys doing. That question can elicit a number of answers and some of them could be odd ones.
Often, I hear about a talent or a business skill that makes me say, “Why don’t you start a business?” I always get a reply like, “Well, I’ve thought about it”, or “I don’t know…”
Starting a business is a lot of work. You have to be ready to do it. You have to really want to do. As a mom your family situation has to be right for this venture too. If you are in the right place to do it. I say, go for it. You can find some helpful advice at Own a Business. There information to help you think through the process and a road map to guide you.
